Support » Localhost Installs » MAMP – server won’t load because configuration is not valid – SSL cache

  • I’m using MAMP on Windows 10.

My server was working fine until a week or so ago. Now when I try to load MAMP’s servers I get an error to say they’re not configured properly and then in the error log I get this:

[warn] Init: Session Cache is not configured [hint: SSLSessionCache]

Anyone know how to fix this? I’ve read around but all the solutions seem to be for XAMP or WAMP, not MAMP. I found one solution that said to include the httpd-ssl.conf file in the Include directive of the httpd.conf file – I did this. There was nothing in the include directive for SSL/TLS before I did this, it now says:

    # Secure (SSL/TLS) connections
    Include conf/extra/httpd-ssl.conf

But it still didn’t work! I’m still getting the error message.

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong/how to fix this? I’ve been trying for almost a week and it’s driving me crazy. I had finished developing a site for a friend and was just about to transfer it to their hosting then this happened!

    Thanks
