I have two wordpress sites, one installed in the public_html folder, and one in a sub-directory below this. I have the Sucuri plugin installed on both sites. When I run the Malware Scanner on the site in the subdir, all the information it reports is for the site in the parent folder (the “Top Level Domain”). I don’t see any configuration options within the plugin settings. The Dashboard Audit log seems to be reporting on the correct website url. Any idea what’s happening here?

This is actually a bug / feature in the API service used by the plugin to scan the website, lets take for example the official blog of GitHub [1] if you pass this URL via SiteCheck [2] you will see that the scan starts from the root no matter if there is a sub-directory in the URL. I can’t fix this from the plugin’s code, but I will talk with the SiteCheck’s maintainers to see if there is something we can do to provide a more accurate information.

    Thanks for the report.
