• My hosting provider have found following files infected by malicious code and I use your plugin with the last update:

    www/wp-content/plugins/miniorange-rest-api-authentication-common/classes/common/RESTAPIHandler/class-restapihandler.php (obsahuje/contains {HEX}Malware.Expert.php.strrot)
    www/wp-content/plugins/miniorange-rest-api-authentication-common/classes/common/AdvancedSettings/class-advancedsettings.php (obsahuje/contains {HEX}Malware.Expert.php.strrot)

    EDIT (their answer):
The plugin code is obfuscated to avoid reverse engineering and that is why the malware scanner is not able to understand the code and thus pointing it as malicious. But I would like to assure you that the code is legitimate and hence you can whitelist this file in your malware scanner.

    Hi @newsinlevels,

Thanks for reaching out and posting our internal ticket answer as well here.

We furthermore want to add here that the tool that you are using to scan plugins is primitive. It is unable to distinguish between a hacker written code and our code which is for a valid reason. This looks like a false positive.

We hope it clears all your concerns in case you are still thinking of this as our plugin’s issue.

Also, we believe the plugin is working smoothly to fulfil your requirements:)

Please feel free to raise an internal ticket via email if you have any questions or want to know more about the plugin features.

    Thanks,
    Team miniOrange
