Hi @mattgroom1 ,
I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience with Kubio, and I appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback.
I would like to clarify a few things:
- “Kubio interferes with the standard operation of normal pages” – While you have the option to edit any website page with Kubio, this is not mandatory. You can always edit pages using the default block editor or another builder. Kubio does not affect pages that were not created with Kubio. Could you, please, give us some details on how Kubio interfered with your pages?
- “Interferes with e-commerce plugins like surecart.” – There are thousands of plugins out there and it is impossible to test with each and every one of them. We are always open to fixing plugin compatibility issues that we receive from our customers via support channels.
- “Does not play nice with many functions in wordpress” – Ensuring compatibility with the latest WordPress versions is a top priority for us. Could you, please, give us some examples of WordPress features Kubio doesn’t play nice with?
One more thing I would like to point out – the title of your review says “Malware”. By definition, malware is software specifically designed to steal information or gain unauthorized access to systems. This is a very serious accusation and I don’t believe any of the items you mentioned can be classified as malware.
We take security very seriously and (as all plugins listed on WordPress.org) our code has been reviewed by the WordPress Plugins Team to avoid any kind of malicious software.
I would really appreciate it if you could update your review title in a way that does not make false accusations.
Best regards,
Horea Radu
