Malicious activity on my wordpress site

    Whenever I visit my website, sometimes, “setup.exe” starts downloading instantaneously. It is being downloaded from online videopctools.com as i could see the source in my browser history.I get popups as well on visiting my website.Please help me out.

    Have you tried using another browser?. Or another computer?

    No, not the download thing but the same pop ups even on other computer/browser.

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    There is no magic bullet in these situations. This is just the start of basic troubleshooting and is a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.
