# Malfunctioning Customizing Panel

 * For some reason I fail to understand, whenever I try to customize my website’s
   appearance, I will try to click on anything in the customization panel, the section
   will become highlighted, but the menu won’t expand into the drop down and I can’t
   edit anything. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

 * Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins to see if any are causing that
   to happen?
 * If that doesn’t fix it, try leaving them off and switching to twentyfourteen 
   theme to see if it’s a theme issue.
 * If so, you will need to go to the developer of your theme for help – as we have
   no way to support commercial themes here –

 * WPyogi you were right! One of my plugins was causing the issue, I deleted it 
   and everything seems to be working fine! thank you so much
