This email was sent from your website “Themes pile” by the Wordfence plugin at Thursday 7th of May 2020 at 07:48:37 PM
The Wordfence administrative URL for this site is:
A user with IP addr has been locked out from signing in or using the password recovery form for the following reason: Used an invalid username ‘cheriebrock9856’ to try to sign in.
The duration of the lockout is 5 minutes.
    User IP:
    User hostname:
    User location: Santiago, Chile

Went bypass via Cpanel to phpMyAdmin on the user to change the password, change and again nothing

Can you help in this how to unlock that is to defrost the login wp admin

  • I am facing same issue.

Can not login with correct credentials,
deactivation plugin through FTP let me login.

    Hi @themespile,

The expiration of the lockout was only 5 minutes, so if you login with the correct username/password now, you should be able to get in. If not, you can deactivate the plugin by going into /wp-content/plugins/ and renaming the wordfence/ folder. (As BooSpot recommended)

    Dave thank you very much
I came across a problem and I solved it was Wordfence where it froze my wp admin page so I deleted it through phpMyAdmin on cPanel Thanks again and best regards from BiH Sarajevo

the expiration time is not 5 minutes,

i waited for long, there is a genuine issue. Please check.
btw, i am only able to login if wordfence remains in-active.

activating it and retrying again gives me same frozen wp-login.
