Making sticky posts display full post, but not regular posts

Hi there,

So I’ve got a sticky post acting as an introductory passage on my blog and I want it to display the full text for this post, but only a teaser for the rest of my posts below. I’ve seen coding solutions for similar problems on other themes support groups, so I’m pretty sure it can be done, but I lack the coding know how.

If you have a snippet that will do the job, or can point me in the right direction, I’d be very grateful.
