• Hi!

I am one of the peoples that upload a huge amount of images on every post, i maybe upload from 100 to 300 high resolution images per post.

My Media Library is hard to manage, everything with wordpress is awesome but the Media Library is pretty far back in the evolution.

I would like to be able to make “Sets” just like in Flickr, this would inprove the Media Library alot.

  • what would you do with the sets – that sets them apart from a post’s ‘gallery’ of uploads?

it’s maybe not exactly what you want, but if I was managing and uploading that many files per post, i think i’d prefer to upload via regular FTP to special upload folders.

    I have an import plugin
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/import-legacy-media/

which imports files from specified server folder into the media library

    and I have another plugin
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/relocate-upload/

that lets you filter the media library by upload folders.

    Thanks for the plugin links.

I cant use the FTP way to upload images since i often blog from computers that i cant install any FTP services from, my only option is to use the built in media library.

It would be even greater if WP made folders on the server with the same name as the sets
