• How do I make pages or sections inactive without removing it from the page? (in case I want to put it back in later.)

    Thanks πŸ™‚

  • I think you should just perform a backup first

Thanks for replying. I used to use dream weaver so that is how I backed up on my computer. Is there an easier way to do it straight from the back end to my computer? Also do u know if there is a way of making the pages inactive without deleting? Thanks

If you delete the pages, they end up in the trash, so you can just un-delete them when you want to add them back. (This is assuming you are running the latest version of WordPress of course)

An easy way to make a back up of your WordPress is by using a plugin like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/backwpup/

    it works really well.
