• Using the Sketch theme, I created a website. What I want to do is keeping the page color white for all posts and pages except for a specific page template I’m planning to use for gallery purposes. I want that page to be full width with no sidebar as well. Any answers? Thanks in advance!

  • Hey there,

    I haven’t had experience with this theme personally, however in most cases in order to achieve the outcome that you’re looking for, all you need to do is as follows;

    Click on the page that you’re looking to modify (In your case the gallery page)>>> On the right had side of the page you will notice a box that says “Publish”>>> Underneath that box you will see another box that says “Page Attributes” >>> From here, just select “Template = 100% Width”

    Done!

    Hope this helps,

    Many thanks,

    Hey Charles,

    Thanks! That makes the page full width but still need to make those full width page backgrounds transparent. Tried to google the css code for that bit but couldnt find anything…

    Hey Zak,

    I’m not sure that I understand what you mean by make the page transparent?

    The page is the canvas that you build from, so that will always need to be there, you can’t get rid of that.

    Once you start adding different sections to the page, you could certainly make text box backgrounds e.t.c transparent, however to add a gallery this isn’t necessary as the images would just show up in the carousel.

    You can show the images in many different ways…add an image feed, upload to your media, create a carousel, add as a widget, create a lightbox gallery e.t.c and this will achieve what you are looking to create.

    Many thanks,
    Charles
