• I purchased a theme called “Newstick” for my first website that I will be making with a friend. The theme is not made for wordpress, but I was wondering if there was a way I could edit it so that when I upload a new post to it, it automatically updates the entire site with it? Such as putting it on the home page, and in its respective child page

Heres a link to the base template with small adjustments made

  • Hi Devin,

There was no link, but I don’t think it will matter.

WordPress is very code-intensive, and a large majority of it (at least on the user end) is based on just what you are requiring: automatic blog post processing.

While we love helping solve all kinds of problems and giving ideas and insights on styling, etc., a question on “How to make a non-WordPress-theme-based site act like a WordPress site without actually being a WordPress site” is a bit outside the scope of the volunteer support here. :/

However, it is quite possible to do, if you do some research. Here is probably the best starting point for you!
