Yes you can set the minimum required number of images to 1. Then set the max to 1 or whatever is allowed. You can find the min/max settings on the plugin settings page.
Thanks 🙂 However, now when I submit the form without uploading image, the msg I get is; “Please complete the required fields”. The error msg that I have set in configuration is “There was an error. Please ensure that you have added a unique title, some content, and that you have uploaded at least 1 image.” Where is the msg “Please complete the required fields” defined? I cannot find it in settings.
That error message is defined within the file that displays the form. The only way to change the message is to set up the custom form. If you would like to do that, you can find instructions on the plugin page under the “Installation” tab.
Hi @specialk
I would like you to make this specific message optional because it’s rather misleading from a submitter’s perspective.
Thank you
You said the image was “mandatory”. That’s what happens when a mandatory (required) field is empty. If you don’t want that to happen, don’t make the image mandatory.
Hi Jeff,
I did not write that msg, I think what @amitaits meant is that “Please complete the required fields” is slightly confusing to the user because the mandatory fields are not marked with a red* and there is no indication as to what is required.
I will check the custom form option as suggested by you and let you know if I need any help.
Thanks for the prompt response.
Regards,
Priyanka
Ah okay thanks, I didn’t see that it was a different user posting.
Let me know if any questions or feedback, glad to help anytime.
