Making email address required

    Hi,

    Is it possible to make ‘email address’ required/mandatory when someone creates a new Open User Map entry/suggestion? Someone did this for the first time yesterday but did not fill in their email address. As a result we have a suggested entry in the database but cannot contact the person to follow up. We are both left hanging.

    Hi @sceotan,

    I’m assuming you mean the email field that get’s visible after the user selects “notify me on publish”, right? This is indeed not a required field yet. I will fix this with the next update.

    However, making fields “required” is possible for custom fields.

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for this. Yes, that’s the field. Also, having the option to make the name required too would be good. Otherwise, if their email is not obviously a name, we wouldn’t be able to identify them necessarily.

    Sure, both fields should be mandatory.
