Making content wider in Twenty Thirteen

    Hi,
    I’m new to wordpress. I’ve set up my site using Twenty Thirteen (it’s in coming soon mode so I can’t provide a link just yet).
    In this theme the main text on pages is narrow ie. occupies about half of the screen. I’d like to make the text wider. Any tips on how I do this?
    Also, I’m using the visual editor so if this requires code can you please talk me through the steps? 🙂
