• Hi, I’m totally new to making templates, pages, etc. with wordpress, and have VERY little experience in coding— total beginner in html, css, and php.

I want to make my homepage a simple page with no header, footer, or any other template features: just a single image that has two links to different pages of my actual comic blog. (Using comicpress, and I don’t want to mess with the template anywhere else.)

I have NO idea whatsoever how to do this and going crazy trying to figure it out. I’ve tried creating child themes, making blank templates… but all I’ve managed to do is make syntax errors and completely blank templates where nothing shows up at all. Can anyone please help me????
