    Hey all;

    I’ve been using the theme very lovingly it is amazing but I just couldn’t get through this one thing. I installed bbpress and buddy press, the colors and everything went really great I’m loving it, except the layout.

    My global layout is 3 columns with 2 sidebars on each side. However I want to have only 2 columns, one sidebar for the forums of bbpress. I’ve been researching for hours and through looking at multiple posts including these by alex himself. At functions.php at lax_layout_class function on the very end I added elseif is_bbpress layout= col1 and it works only for forum level. Layout is the way I want it to be on the forum level however when I click on any forum, or topic (so when I go deeper than the domain.com/forums slug) it goes back to the global layout.

    I’ve discovered that domain.com/forums slug gets its layout form archives and topics and other content get it form is_single (post) layout options. However I don’t want to have my posts in the same layout as forums. So this leads me to thinking maybe is_bbpress codex is only for forums slug level? Maybe there’s another codex?

    Hours of research came to no avail. This is like my only hope.

    Thanks in advance for any replies.

    Hi teslaturk. Don’t know if you’ve asked your question on the bbPress forum but you’ll probably find more users with bbPress experience there.
