    if there is no option, you might need to edit style.css of your theme;

    and add background-attachment: fixed; to the style of body

    Thanks so much for your reply, I am just having a hard time figuring out exactly where to find where to add that, sorry I am totally new to blogging and css, think you can point me in the right direction? Thanks!

    dashboard – appearance – editor: style.css

    near the beginning;
    the existing style is:

    body { margin:0; padding:0; background:url(;
           font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
           font-size:12px; color:#b8babb; text-align:center; }

    sorry I have found out what to do now. I just added the word “fixed” after my back URL. Thanks
