• Hi all!

I have been trying a few plugins and browsing the forum but to no avail. I have created an “about the team” page with over 100 people (meet my team plugin). I noticed that the images they sent me are not all the same size. A lot of them provided me with a link to an external website where their image is. Is there a a plugin that I can download to make the images the same size? Perhaps making use of the bulk edit function?

    Thanks in advance,
    Anthony.

  • Hi @amcu. You could try this plugin which lets you regenerate the image sizes in bulk in the media library: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

Thanks for the reply. However, the images are not all in the media library. I guess a solution is to download all of the images from their external website, upload them, and then resize all the image at once?

Hi again @amcu – That’s right; they need to be in/imported into the media library to be changed using the plugin I suggested. Also – I would test resizing some of the images you already have uploaded first to ensure that the plugin works how you want it to. 🙂

    Hi Pearl,

Whenever I try to regenerate an image in the media library, it doesn’t seem to have any effect. I checked the settings, and everything is how I want it to be. According to the instructions, there should be a drop down menu where I can select which size I want the image to regenerate to. However, I don’t appear to have this. Any ideas?

Hi @amcu – I would check out the support section for the plugin and see if anyone is having the same issue or direct this question to the plugin creator: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/simple-image-sizes
