    Your question is extraordinarily broad. I would suggest that you try to narrow it down a little bit by asking how to implement something specific, rather than something broad, such as entire website.

    Before you do any WP development, you should first become familiar with WP. Set it up on a localhost environment, and just play with it. You can also read the documentation at http://codex.wordpress.org

    How familiar are you with basic web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and PHP?

    Thanks for the suggestion./ Thwe reason I asked the question in a crude way is that I did not know exactly which direction to take and which theme to use for easier handling.

    My knowledge of PHP is non-existent. However, I can play with HTML and CSS.
