Support » Fixing WordPress » Making a Theme Plugins

  • Hey, I’m trying to build a bundle based on Twenty 11 that my team can use for making quick charity websites easier. I’ve got some plugins installed that will be standard for these sites and I just wanted to know how to set up a theme that the team could add to a wordpress set up that comes with all the plugins I installed so that they can quickly build around it over and over when they need to build a new site.

How would I exactly go about doing this? This is for internal use only just so we don’t have to keep downloading the same plugins over and over again for similar projects. Thanks!

  • Themes and plugin are two different folders in your wp-content folder and setting are saved in database.

You can keep a copy of wp-content folder and once you installed wordpress replace wp-content folder with your copy. That way you will all your themes and plugins. All plugins will have be activated and configured for each install.

The other way is add them to Favorites

and you will have list on each install.
