  • I was wondering if it’s possible to customize posts like in this image.

    a short description of the image

    At the moment I’m able to insert tables in the post to partially get that look, but is not extremely practical and is not 100% like the concept in the image.

    Technically every text and image section would be dynamic, but that would require a pluging that with my present skills would be too advanced, I got the ideas but luck of knowledge to do it.

    Actually, since I’m writing this I’d be glad if a kind soul would point me to the right direction to write such plugin, like some hints or readings.

    Thanks in advance to everyone.

  • Short answer: yes.

    No plugin needed. It’s just a matter of coding it how you want it to appear.

    <div id="post">
    <img src="image" />
    <div class="left">
    stuff here for the "randomness" list
    <div class="right">
    graphical images
    <hr class="clear" />
    <div class="entry">
    post content
    <div class="date">
    date stuff here

    In your CSS: {
    border:solid 1px #CCC;
    } img {
    border:1px solid #CCC;
    margin:0 5px 5px 0;
    } div.left {
    } div.right {
    hr.clear {

    that’s your basics. You’ll have to edit however you want things to be, but that should be your basic set up. Enter in the code as you need to, adjust margins and paddings, blah blah.
