First, argued for many emails that a shipping discount should be applied before taxes, because taxes shown are not calculated before a discountm just a legal thing they don’t even understand or want to fix. Now, I realize the coupons mess up with Paypal transactions and I lose the discount twice on the total amount. These guys are not professionals. The basic functionalities probably work, but don’t expect too much. I had paid for pro and regret it

    Hello @funique

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for any frustration you’ve experienced, and we truly appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.

    Regarding the issues you mentioned:

First, we’d like to clarify that using multiple discount or coupon plugins simultaneously on a single website can often lead to conflicts, as they frequently rely on the same core hooks within WooCommerce. This can result in unexpected behavior, such as the duplicate discount application you described. Our plugin includes a robust built-in coupon system that supports both manual and automatic discounts, and we recommend using it exclusively to avoid such conflicts.

Concerning the PayPal and tax calculation matter, we have previously provided detailed instructions to help you test and resolve this. However, we didn’t receive a follow-up response from you at that time. For transparency, we have thoroughly tested our plugin with PayPal on multiple staging environments and have not encountered the same issue internally.

To help us pinpoint the root cause, we kindly suggest performing the following troubleshooting steps on a staging copy of your site:

    1. Deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and our shipping discount plugin.
    2. Test the checkout process with a PayPal Sandbox account (we’ve shared setup instructions with you before).
    3. If the issue is resolved, reactivate each plugin one by one to identify which one is causing the conflict.
    4. Don’t forget to deactivate other discount and coupon plugins on your website.

If the problem persists after these steps, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly through our support channel. We’re more than willing to investigate further, but we do need sufficient details—such as system logs, screenshots, and step-by-step reproduction steps—to assist you effectively.

We take all feedback seriously, and we’re committed to improving our plugin and your experience with it. Should you decide to give us another chance, we’re here to help.

    Best regards
