I am doing volunteer work for a non-profit animal rescue center and have been tasked with trying to get their website working properly. * They paid a web designer well in 2013 – modifications were done to the Earth Theme that actually seem to me to take away from the original template, and the slider no longer loads if you navigate away from the home page and try to go back. * I am completely new to Word Press and the designer is telling me things like copyright notice (footer) was not available in that theme originally, which I can see it was and that the theme is not mobile friendly, but “can probably be made MF he’s sure”. * Can someone help me know what is fact and what is fiction. I do not want to invest any more of this organizations money with a designer unless it is necessary.
