# Make theme wider?

 * I am using Premium News from woothemes. I want to make the content wider. Right
   now the site is in the middle of the screen surrounded by a wallpaper or solid
   color on both sides.
 * Where can I look to make it wider. Or what css code can I use?

 * using a browser inspaection tool might help to identify which CSS styles you 
   need to change.
 * as your problem seems ot be a pure formatting issue, you could also try to ask

 * Okay I was able to make it wider by changing this code:
 *     ```
       /*========= LAYOUT =========*/
   
       #page{
       	background: #ffffff;
       	margin: 0 auto;
       	width: 960px;
       }
       ```
   
 * but it leaves this space between the content (post area) and the sidebar area.
   I want to make the content (post/page) area larger.
