    Hi Michael,

Thanks for making this plugin available! Very much appreciated.

I want to make one specific testimonial appear in my home page only. The second testimonial in my about page only, a third testimonial appear in my contact page only. Is it possible to make a specific testimonial appear in only one page of the website and not appear in other pages.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Marcelo

    Thank you for the compliment.

If you checkout screenshot 1, Testimonials admin interface , you’ll notice there’s shortcode with ids. Use those on your desired pages.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for your reply!

I checked the screenshot 1, Testimonials admin interface out and I could not find the answer.

What I meant in my previous is that I want to make a specific (unique) testimonial appear in my widget in a specific page only; I do not want the same testimonial appearing in more than one page in the widget area.

How do I make a testimonial appears in one page only using the widget?

For example: Using the widget, the first testimonial appears in the home page only, the second testimonial appears in the book page only, etc…

    Thank you very much again!

    Kind regards,
    Marcelo

Add tags to the testimonials then you can filter them in the shortcodes.

    [testimonialswidget_list tags=”homepage1″]
    [testimonialswidget_list tags=”bookpage1″]

As long as you only assign that one testimonial to that tag, this should display the quote that you want.

This means you will have to use tags on all of your testimonials so that you can specify “unique” quotes for specific pages.

@jelle, you rock! I hadn’t thought of this answer. Thank you.

@marcelo, the catch here is that each of your pages to have unique testimonials is also going to need unique widgets.
