    So you created a child theme of Twenty Thirteen and edited a copy of header.php to add in your own menu? Did you remove the original menu code?

    No i have not created child theme. I directly update the theme name as first. and i did not remove original menu code.
    so what should i do now??

    So when you make your browser narrow, the responsive menu drop-down button does not show up on the left? How did you add your own menu, did you add another call to the wp_nav_menu() function?

    By the way, you should not be editing the theme files directly. If the theme gets updated because of feature enhancements, bug fixes, or security patches, or if the theme has to be updated because of a change to the WordPress core, then your changes will be lost. The recommended procedure for making changes to a theme is to create a child theme.

    I am using wp_nav_menu() function.
    ok from now onwords i will go on creating child theme.
