    Hi there,

Sorry if this sounds stupid. Any possible way I could make the out of stock items non clickable?

Even for those products that has variations. Cause right now, it is confusing for my customers, as they are still able to click on the out of stock variations but it ultimately displays ‘Out of Stock’ at the bottom.

Any way I could blur it out or something? Thanks! šŸ™‚

  • Hi @danielchan23

Thanks for reaching to us. Please confirm you have installed and activated Variation Swatches plugin.

Then go to WooCommerece(from left admin panel) > Settings > Products > Inventory and check “Hide out of stock items from the catalog”

Then hit the Save Changes button.

Please let me know, is it resolved your issue or not.

    Thanks

    Hi @hakik

Thank you so much. That did the trick for my products that has single variation. Mind if I ask if it can be applied to those that has multiple variations.

For example, disabling selection for pillowcase variation that is out of stock, i.e. in the linked photo : https://snipboard.io/CYO0hl.jpg

Hence, from the get go, they are unable to select the pillowcase colors that are out of stock.

Hope this can be done, Thanks for your help! šŸ™‚

    Hi @danielchan23

Glad to hear that it worked partially. But I am sorry I didn’t understand your second query. Could you please explain a bit more?

    Hi @hakikzaman

    Thanks for your quick response!

    Here’s the video link : https://www.loom.com/share/b10a51cf08144ab193f84503825c5559

What I’m trying to show is, for a simple variation it works perfectly. I’ll be able to see the fade to grey and cross sign for out of stock items.

But in the instance of the bundle pillowcase option, even though the color is out of stock, it is still clickable and shows ‘out of stock’ at the bottom right after you click it. Any possible way I could make it greyed out from the start when it is out of stock?

Hope this clarifies, and really appreciate your time a ton!

    Hi @danielchan23

Thanks for your screencast. Could you please clear why you have used same variation as option 1 & option 2?

Did you make combination of two swatches (option 1 & option 2) properly? Like this.

For a deep inspection, please follow this instruction:Ā https://www.useloom.com/share/069767fdbade45bcac3ead31be203476

    Thanks

    Hi @hakikzaman

The reason I have the same option is to let customers select their preferred colors for the ‘Bundle of Two’ option.

Hope this clarifies. Not sure whether if it is still possible to grey out those options that are out of stock for products that has two or more variation combinations.

    Thanks for your time!
