 * Hi there,
    Can anybody suggest a way to provide a numeric list of posts in a 
   widget? EG 1 2 3 4 etc… Similar to the pagination link ” wp_link_pages” which
   churns out an array of numbers. This would list posts ideally.

 * Consider downloading and installing [Otto’s PHP Code Widget](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/php-code-widget/),
   then use a new WP_Query in one of those widgets.

 * I managed with [wp-page-numbers](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-page-numbers/)
   in the end thanks. Works with WordPress 3.0 too
 * Is page numbering a function of WordPress? Not seen it very much but it’s there
   in the admin
