  • Hi,

    I have a wordpress multisite installation, and when you google our page “dedikation” I will see this in google: – [ Translate this page ] – Cached
    vad Är dedikation? | Logga in · twitter | rss | … Dedikation gör Peace & Love | Fredag. Det drar sig mot mitten av … Dedikation gör Peace and Love | Onsdag …

    Basically I would rather like to see: – [ Translate this page ] – Cached
    Text about what kind of page dedikation is.

    Also, we have bloggers on the page and when you google their names it will only show the main page on google. Is it possible to make it actually find the multisite instead of the main page?

    Thank you in advance!

  • Regarding your first question – you should use a meta description tag, at least on your homepage. I explained how to do it in this topic:

    For example, this code shows your blog description (from your admin panel) as meta description, on your blog homepage only – since we don’t want every page to have the same description, right?

    <?php if ( is_home() ) { ?>
    <meta name="description" content="<?php echo get_bloginfo( 'description', 'display' ); ?>" />
    <?php } ?>
