Make more space for content (width)

  • i understand that twentyfourteen theme is created for responsive design. i believe the current layout will be good on mobile device. but while reading the blog on computer/laptop screen, i prefer to get more width for the main contents.

    how can i tweak the blog to get more width for contents on computer/laptop?

    Create a [Childs_Thame] or add this to your custom css area

    .site-content .entry-header, .site-content .entry-content, .site-content .entry-summary, .site-content .entry-meta, .page-content {
    max-width: none;
    }

    @vasilich2012 in future it is best if you start you own thread as per forum rules

    Anyway if you don’t already have a Child_Themes or a custom.css you should install a plugin like custom CSS plugin then add the following to the custom css area.
