    What have worked out is that if i add #header {
    position: fixed;
    } to the style css it makes the header and menu static but removes any spacing between the header and the post so now the first post has moved up and sits behind the menu and logo.

    I’ve tried adjusting the padding and margin but no effect at all.

    So any help getting around that problem again greatly appreciated.
