• Hello i’m tired of searching on foruns on tutorials and so on… i’ve installed a PressPi image on a RPi3 and i can’t make it go online! I’ve created a domain on noip, have installed it’s DUC client, and even so i can’t access it on my home computer! i’ve just edited the url etc/nginx/sites-available/default and on PHPmyadmin! On raspcontrol i can see an external ip… What is wrong? i’ve got the last wordpress installation!

P.S.: With the default configuration i can view and edit the website content!

  • Hey!

Quite frankly, there are a lot of things that can go wrong when trying to put a website online from home. This can be a Router, DNS, Server, WordPress, etc. issue.

P.S.: With the default configuration i can edit and edit the website content!

What do you mean by that? So with the default configs it’s up an running – locally and externally?

Just locally! i can access it on my pc connected to a hub! on a tablet it’s different it tells DNS couldn’t resolve! The Hub is connected to a router!

It’s difficult to say what might be causing this. Personally I would re-check the DNS settings, the nginx config files and the firewall settings. As WordPress seems to work on your PC, this should not be a WP issue but something in the server side configurations.

Sorry I can’t be more helpful!
