    Hi transpublic.

If your site has a fixed width:
Set the width of the slideshow (in the ‘Configuration’ section) to the same width of your site.

    If your site is fluid:
Set the width to the width of the widest image in your slideshow. If it is still too narrow then you should use wider slide images to avoid distortion.

If you need more help please send me a link to your site and I will take a look.

    Regards,
    Tom.

I am wrestling with the width sizing of my imaging with Meta.
No matter how wide I set the controls it max’s at 701px.
I have scoured the forums, the css & php trying to adjust the twenty-eleven theme sizing for Meta.
    Cannot solute the adjustment.
    Any ideas?
BTW I have the theme set to two column, left sidebar and using the Meta on the right side content/post container only on the homepage.

    Hi Neil,

I guess you’re trying to make it full width on the homepage?

The slider will only ever be as wide as the container it is in – in your case I guess the content column for the 2011 theme is set to 701px. You either need to make that column 100% wide, or create a new content area which is 100% wide and put the slider in there instead (the long and short of it is – if you want a 100% wide slider, the container it is in must be 100% wide itself)

    Regards
    Tom.

After hours of digging through the slider editor and theme editor I figured it was in the theme somewhere.
I just cannot find the theme code for adjusting the larger right side column sizing.
I need to keep the two column, just want to exploit as much graphic area as possible.
I’ll get back to combing the theme code.
    Thanks for the prompt response.

    Hi Neil,

The column widths themselves will be defined in the style.css file. Be careful though, if you do change the width of a column, make sure you adjust the whole container size, or adjust the adjacent column widths so they all add up.

    Regards,
    Tom.
