Make featured image not clickable

The output of the feature image is controlled by the theme you are using. Which one do you use?

In WordPress dashboard please go to Appearance->Customize->Additional CSS then put that code

    pointer-events: none;
}

If not work then implement that code please

    pointer-events: none !important;
}
