Make excerpt meta description

    Hi everyone,

    I am a member of the admin team for a community technology blog, and I want to know if it is possible to make a posts excerpt text the meta description text?

    Currently only the homepage has a meta description tag.

    Is there code we could use to add meta description tags to just posts, and get it to use the article excerpt?

    I would want it to look like this

    <meta name=”description” content=”POST EXCERPT” />

    Any ideas?
