Make drop down with selection to database?

    Hi,

    How do I make a drop down with the selection to database in wordpress?

    Eg.

    City:
    Amsterdam
    Berlin
    Copenhagen

    And then a Search-button that sends the data (selection) to my ready made database?
    The idea is that the selection returns a picture, and a google map for a given location
