make blog page full width

    Hi guys,

    I recently created a new theme and also added some custom page templates . Now from the admin panel in ‘ ADD NEW PAGE ‘ i can see the drop down box from which i can select the template . But once the blog page template is selected, it works .

    The problem is that blog page ( i just got from another theme ) has a space for the side bar . I removed the line ‘ <?php get_sidebar();?> ‘ part, so then the side bar doesn’t appear but still that place is empty and the blog page is not full width .

    What I want is BLOG page to be full width . And also lets say i click on the one topic on blog and go inside that post, so that also comes in that default ( with right side bar ) page template . I want that single post page also to be full width .

    Sounds like you need to start editing your theme’s CSS. I also think that copying a template file from another theme “as is” is a pretty awful idea.
