• It would make my life so much easier if I could edit my posts while in Distraction Free Writing Mode. If you could add a toggle toolbar button to the menu in distraction free writing mode, so the second toolbar would appear below the first and i wouldn’t have to exit the enlarged screen, my life would be so much easier.

Any help spreading this request is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
    Scott

I’m not sure I understand. Do you mean that you don’t have the toolbar for bold etc when in the DFW? You should. Not the kitchen sink stuff, I know, but the basics are there. It was decided that having all of the tinymce buttons would be a bit too distracting for distraction free. You should be using it to write.

I have a toolbar and i do use the “distraction free mode” to write. But it would be much easier to edit posts if there was a full toolbar accessible via a toolbar toggle button.
There is a toggle toolbar button on normal post writing mode that hides the second toolbar. This simple button in DFW mode would allow everyone to write normally and pull down the toolbar when it’s time to edit.

It’s way easier to edit in full screen mode!

Please don’t make multiple posts about this.

The change in fonts was due to changes in TinyMCE and are out of our hands.

Adding the full toolbar to DFW was nixed because it made it too cluttered.

    Thanks for the links.

I’m sure I’m in the wrong place, but I’m frustrated. I’m definitely not very techie, and I have a lot of trouble using this site. I can’t even remember how to get to my blog to check out what’s going on, which involved a lot of spam. I sent an email asking for support but never received a reply.

Also, I can’t leave comments on other people’s blogs without signing in, something I find inconvenient.

So, how do I cancel the blog I currently have on WordPress. As a non-techie, I found it extremely difficult to use, especially when I can’t get answers I need. Thank you!
