• Hi!

All accounts scanned from QR codes now display the word “WordPress” above them. I’d like to be able to disable this: it can be confusing when a site has nothing to do with “WordPress.org” or “WordPress.com” (other than using WordPress as the engine).

A new input field would perhaps be the best solution, allowing the user to leave it empty or edit in any value they wish.

    Thanks,
    + Kimmo

  • OK, I’ve added that to my ToDo list.

    Thanks, Henrik.

It would be nice if the default could be set for all users, although that makes the implementation a bit more complex, I guess… 🙂

I’ll post on this ticket if I get around to attempting a change.

    Cheers,

Not quite sure what you mean by that ? Don’t you want the user editing his profile to be able to edit it ?

I would want the user to be able to edit it, yes.

But I think it would be a nice touch if the default could be set to something else than “WordPress” for all users, as well.

I guess I would just make it a constant I could put in wp-config.php, if I was in a hurry. Otherwise a separate form for default values would be needed, possibly only accessible by admins.

    Cheers,
