Support » Plugin: amr users » Make a website URL field a clickable link

  • I have a custom field containing a website URL. Is it possible to make it a clickable link ideally with the target as _blank?

I tried selecting the link type as “users url” but this had, seemingly, no affect in the displayed member directory (ie: URL field displays but is not a link).

Thanks for any help you can offer

The linktype users url links to the users url (in the wordpress user profile) IF there is a users url. If there is no users url, then no link will be generated. Intended so that a name can link to the users website.

For an unknown field, the plugin needs to be told how to format it.
Currently you’d have to write a little routine. Coming soon in amr-users plus it will be possible to request that it format is as text with link, icon with link, possibly image with link, but that may be a while. Ive noted that maybe I can at least get a default up soon.
