I am currently using Estate Premium Theme. I have a Parent heading – Services Provided with a drop down list. I would like this to be just a heading with no page associated with it.

All of the Child headings have pages.

Is this something I can do?

    Thanks

  • Hi suzefarenden

Head to Appearance > Menus. Add a Link instead of a Page item for your parent menu items. Enter a # for the url. Then once the link item has been added to your menu remove the #. You can then use that as your parent menu item/heading.

    Hope that makes sense.

Hi Thanks for your reply above. I have followed the above, but the page is still “clickable” and it takes you to a blank page!!!!!!

I dont want people to be able to click onit.

Sorry I am only just learning, I am not really a website guru.

    Thanks.

No problem. Your link still says http://. Go to Appearance > Menus and check that item. There shouldn’t any anything in the URL field. Make that field blank and save the menu.
