Support » Plugin: Eventbrite API » Make a distinction between public and private pages

  • Resolved Ingmar

I am trying to make a distinction between public and private pages (events).

When creating an Eventbrite event you’ve got additional settings at point 3, see screenshot (which is in dutch): Settings to put an event on public or private, and with private some more options to choose from.

My client has got 2 events posted. One is public, and one is private. Though, the data I am getting from the Eventbrite API plugin for both events is public => 1.

Is there any way to differentiate between those public and private events? Just to label the events and perhaps hide the ticket button when there aren’t even tickets for sale.

    Any help is much appreciated!

Hm, the plugin determines its own “public” status by the listed property on the event coming from the API. Then the plugin shows only public events by default, or additionally private ones if set. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply. The issue here is that I want to list all events, public and private. (I have set display_private => true in the eventbrite query) It’s just that there are some options to choose from when adding a new event in (like ‘invite only’), but those options do not appear in the data the plugin is returning.

Any further suggestions are more than welcome!
