First of all, I am not a wordpress developer, I'm a teacher. I've built a website for my school and our host is being dreadfully unhelpful about the problem!
I built the website no problem but instead of linking pages in the menu to the actual wordpress pages I linked them to the domain name of the pages. I built the website on a domain that I bought and hosted it on godaddy with the intention of allowing the school's host to log in, download the website and then upload it to the school's domain and their hosting.
So a.) I can't log in since they have uploaded the site on the school's domain,
and b.) the website's menu links and pages (except the homepage) go to my website (accessenglishproject.info) and not the school's (cmla.uk.com)
Obviously if I could log in I could simply change the links in the back end to point to the actual pages but when I try to log in nothing happens, it doesn't say incorrect password the page just refreshes, I also can't change the password.
The host is telling me my problem is that wordpress is 'confused' because there are two instances of the site online. I took mine down but the wp-admin page won't even come up now.
Does anyone know how I could either login OR edit the menu links from the file manager? Maybe there's an alternative solution that's better?
Thank you in advance for any help,
