    Hi,

I recently recieved an email stating I had to add new DNS info for my site due to, ‘Major mailbox providers require you to authenticate your sender domain…’

I have added all DNS records to my site as requested. However, the status reads invalid (apparently, ‘record completely missing’) for three of them and the last reads, ‘processing’. It has been like this for a week now. Clicking blue, ‘verify the DNS records’ button does nothing except add a new error message, ‘Some DNS records were not set up correctly. Please check the records again. You may need to wait up to 24 hours for DNS changes to propagate

Any suggestions as to where to go from here, will be appreciated – thanks.

    Regards,

    A

    Hi @agizzie,

It’s possible that the DNS changes did not fully propagate when you checked. DNS updates can take up to 48 hours to propagate fully due to time-to-live (TTL) settings.

If it has been longer than 48 hours since you updated the DNS records, I recommend the following steps:

    1. Double-check the DNS records to ensure they are entered correctly. Pay close attention to any potential typos or missed characters.
    2. Verify that the records are entered in the correct section of your DNS settings, and they match the required type (e.g., TXT, CNAME).
    3. Confirm that you are not experiencing any cache-related issues. You can use online tools such as MXToolbox to check the current state of your DNS records.

Let us know how it goes.

Same status here after >48 hours.

Records are visible in my Dreamhost account, and they match what mailpoet provided (I used cut & paste)

    Hi @battouly

Thanks for getting back to me, still no joy. I copy and pasted all info across and double checked to see if anything has been missing from the ends. All looks OK on my domain dashboard but still showing as not correct via mailpoet as previuosly stated.

    Hey @trbhicks,

Since this is account related, please create your own forum support thread. We will be able to assist you there.

Also, if that helps, your domain shows verified from our end.

    Thanks!

    Hi @agizzie,

Thanks for sharing the domain. The verification did not go through from our end either. The next step would be to reach out to your web host and ask them to assist you with the process.

Hi @battouly I’ve re-added the infor via my cpanel, and now on my mailpoet dashboard everything is saying ‘verified’ with a green tick. Can you please confirm it is reading as such from your end. Thanks

    Hey @agizzie,

    Thanks for the updates.

I can confirm your domain shows verified from our end too!

I will mark this thread as solved now.
