Major Bug – Rest API

    Whenever this plugin is activated, creating a post disconnects and CPU goes through the roof, and everything collapses and then shows a blank page with err_empty_response.

    Via health check, this is the bug/response whenever this plugin is on:
    The REST API request failed due to an error.
    Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    The theme I’m using is designed around WC Vendors Marketplace. Even using 2017 theme, and no other plugins, this plugin does the same thing.

    It’s a fatal error, and has been crashing my site for a long time now. And I don’t know how to fix it because I don’t see this plugin using an API anywhere..

    Is there any way to resolve this bug?

    Hello,

    We currently do not have an interface for the REST API. Which REST API are you referring to? What kind of post are you creating? You’re the only person to report such an issue so something in your particular install is causing something to happen.

    We will need more details and any logs surrounding this as it will be very difficult to pin point what might have changed.

    Hello,

    The Health check plugin can cause a lot more troubles then it will resolve. We did however find an issue with our session manager that causes that check to fail in the health check. This does not stop the product from functioning or your site.

    Ok, thank you for insight. I’ll avoid Health Check plugin in the future, it was first time trying it for troubleshooting.

    Just to let you know, we are addressing the sessions issue in our next release which will stop the health check plugin from reporting any issues.
