Maintenance mode working except for main page

    I added the plug-in, it works when I press a link on the main page. But the main page is still visible as normal. Did I miss a setting?
    I cleared out the WP cache and Kinsta cache. Tried different browsers and cleared browser cache. But I can still see the main page.

    Hi,

    It looks like Cloudflare is caching it, so make sure you clear that as well 🙂

    So apparently I am not using Cloudflare caching.

    This is the response I got back from Kinsta support.

    ” It looks like the issue is WordPress 5.8. On 5.7.2, the Maintenance plugin worked flawlessly. So you can try using the Downgrade plugin to return to version 5.7.2, or you can try to find a different plugin that works in WordPress 5.8. “

    all good now, had to clear cache in cpanel
