    Hey everyone!

Currently utilising this fantastic method of displaying WordPress’ maintenance mode without using a plugin:

    http://sivel.net/2009/06/wordpress-maintenance-mode-without-a-plugin/

However, when I get to step three, it ceases to do what its supposed to do! I’m simply not able to access the /wp-admin/ page. I’m greeted with the same maintenance message as general visitors, despite trying it out on various browsers and so on.

I’ve copied and pasted the code directly, so I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong! Is it because the tutorial was written so long ago, and it no longer works with the latest version of WordPress …?

Any help would be very greatly appreciated! 🙂
