[Resolved] maintenance mode not showing when plugin activated?

  • Hi I have installed the plugin (v 1.8.4) and activated in the dashboard but when I log out of admin the site is still live (the dashboard says it’s activated though and I’m definitely logged out – checked on another computer).

I don’t know if it’s relevant but when I installed the plugin the following message appearing in the ‘Exclude’ field of the settings:
“Warning: join() [function.join]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/embedp/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode/inc/wp-maintenance-mode-settings.php on line 228.
Would this have something to do with it? Any ideas what might be wrong?
    The site itself is http://www.embeddingperformance.com
    Many thanks

  • Sorry!! Please ignore the above – it’s OK now. For some reason I don’t think I saved the ‘True / False’ field in the settings correctly so it had reverted back to ‘False’ even though the plugin was showing as active on the dashboard. All sorted!!

    ok, thanks for feedback.
