 * Hi
I have no control over the maintenance mode if I click on the ON switch I
am sent to the message page, when I go back to dashboard the button is light
red only and I can not switch it back to green and off course the maintenance
mode does not work/not active. I have disabled most of my plugins (some I cant)
but can not see what to do next Any idea ? thanks

 * Hi, it would be a good idea if you could disable all your other plugins and only
have this plugin active for testing purposes. Can you check the log files located
in **Dashboard** to see if they reveal some information. How much memory do you
   have allocated for your website?

 * Hi Thanks for your answer, Well in fact I am running 5 sites via MainWP on a
hosting plan, its a large plan and in theory it should have no problem running

all this, the sites run fast and smooth and admin work fluid.
 * I have this problem on all those sites, whereas everything else works fine.
 * These are the server limitations below and when I look at the usage stats on
the server I am nowhere near that ever.
 * > a simultaneous number of database connections (if the instance has a database
   > installed on it)
   > a limit of 128MB of RAM per process a limited number of pageviews
   > per month (from 300,000 to 5 million)

 * One question are you able to make other changes in the plugin admin without any
issue? If you are and the only problem is when you try to save Maintenance mode,
does your theme have a maintenance mode functionality? If that is the case can
you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fifteen?

 * HI
Yes everything else works fine there is no theme its a builder its a good
idea to try on an other theme see what happens, id have to set something up to
test without modifying my site though.

 * Yes that is a good idea. If you have the space, you could easily set up a test
site for testing purposes in your server. This would make it more easy for you
to carry out test in the future.

 * from what I see in the stats the server peaks at 128Mo (which is the given limit)
   some times
I sent a mail to the hosting company asking for clarification. but
it does not really explain the reason why this specific function does not work
whene everything else works As for setting up a site to test I am doing that
now on a testing server similar set up .. I would like to keep this thread open
maybe somebody who has had the same problem will post something Thanks!

 * Hi there I am getting back on this thread as I have not really sorted this out
   yet
I have by now set up quite a few more sites with this plugin and have a
   bit more information
 * I can still not get the maintenance mode to work, by that I mean that sometimes
it does work partially after several attempts the maintenance mode switch will
stay green and if it does go to red I can not switch it back, this is just one
example there are other issues which are probably related..
 * I am doing something wrong? possible but I can not see what, I click on the
red and the message page opens I click through, the page reloads and when I go
back to the dashboard the button is still green. I notice that changing the message
   works. its weird.
 * On my dev server, which has no caching system and is very well furnished in memory
   and cpu
I have run tests and deactivated all plugins with Divi theme builder
or standard WP theme To get unstuck from maintenance mode I have to reset all
security settings! Please for any help I would be most grateful

 * Hi, what are your current sever specs? What WordPress version are you running?
How much memory do you have allocated to your site this time? I would like to
know because this thread is 5 months old. There has been many updates added to
the plugin. Who is your host?
